The marina is close to completion (spring 2009).
There are very few ‘waterfront’ properties as the land around the marina is delegated for top class hotels, a shopping centre, heli-pad, golf course, medical centre, to name a few of the facilities.
The headland land contains just a handful of properties and only a few of which are for sale. Didim Sun Properties are marketing water front properties starting at £150,000. The residential properties closest to the marina are located 200 metres away ie a 3-4 minutes walk and prices here start in the mid £40s. Just 800 metres away from the marina, it is possible to find new spacious 1 bedroom properties from £26,000. These prices are bound to change very soon.
The area is undergoing rapid transformation. Work began 2 years ago and will continue for at least another 8 years while Didim retains it Tourism Development Region status.
